Learning YUXIN Singapore Math is the best for your child. :)

Did you know that our country Philippines is at the top bottom in terms of the subject math?

While our co-Asian country Singapore is ranked  number 1 based on  the 2015 PISA Results 2015.

Result is based on PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) Result release by The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The PISA is a worldwide exam administered every three years that measures 15-year-olds in 72 countries. About 540,000 students took the exam in 2015.

Singapore always make it to the number 1 position that makes me more curious on what’s behind the Singapore Math.

Lucky me, I was invited to attend AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center  http://www.review.ahead.edu.ph/and I have learned that they offers Singapore Math on their YuXin Academic Tutorial Programs.

YuXin derived from a Mandarin word “Yu” (‘excellence”) and “Xin” (“heart” or “‘mind”). The name itself mirrors them that they serve with a heart of excellence.

YuXin is the first to offer an advancement program combining academic advancement sessions with other up-to-date study tools. Managed by the most awarded tutorial and review center in the Philippines in partnership with Singapore Asia Publishers Pte Ltd,

Yuxin also supports our newest  upgrade on our educational system K to 12 that focus on student’s schoolwork and continually achieve the best for themselves in different aspects of learning.

Yuxin offers the following services: Singapore Math,  Academic Tutorials,  K12 Preparation,  Level Up Program (Mindmapping, Speed reading, Science, English),  Homeschool Support &  Contest Preparation.

Yuxin’s Mission is to establish and maintain a tutorial of advancement centers through implementation of the franchising system. While their Vision is a better-educated citizenry, achieved through a network of tutorial and enrichment centers whose services are affordable, accessible, and of high quality.

Yuxin’s is an excellent environment for our child especially if we want them to be AHEAD on their academic skills. Not only they focus on the subject itself but they also make sure that our child learns in more enjoyable way that would make them more  interested on learning.

We will definitely enroll our 3 years old little master when He is already prepared to take Singapore Math.

Singapore math way of teaching students to learn and master mathematical concepts is based on using the three steps learning process; concrete, pictorial, and abstract.

In the concrete step, students engage in hands-on learning experiences using concrete objects such as chips, dice, or paper clips. This is followed by drawing pictorial representations of mathematical concepts. Students then solve mathematical problems in an abstract way by using numbers and symbols.

This is way more effective than our country is using right now.
